HTC One A9, Desire 828 dual-SIM unveiled in India; price to be revealed later
HTC One A9 and Desire 828 are part of the company's new segment of ultra selfie camera smartphones which have been launched in India

HTC One A9 and HTC Desire 828 dual SIM smartphones have been launched in India. Signifying the Taiwanese company’s stress on the Indian market, the two models have been launched here soon after their global announcements.
The HTC One A9 offers a 5-inch edge-to-edge Full HD AMOLED screen with 13MP rear camera and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM with support for up to 2TB external storage. The front camera is f2.0 Ultra Pixel clicker. It runs Android Marshmallow.
The HTC Desire 828 dual SIM is powered by a MediaTek processor and has 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The rest of the features are similar to the HTC One A9.

The devices are expected to be available by end of December and HTC will reveal the prices of both devices at a later date.
“The goal is to offer the pricing closer to the launch, but we will have a surprise for the buyers,” said Chia-Lin Chang, president of global sales, HTC.
“We are not here for a year or two. We know that building customer loyalty is important for long term growth,” he said, adding that HTC has had a good India story so far. “Performance in India is going to have an impact on global numbers.”
