
Samsung launched its budget smartphone Galaxy J3 in India today. Samsung Galaxy J3 is a 5-inch smartphone with 720p HD AMOLED display. However, the most notable feature of Galaxy J3 is its S bike mode that makes it easy for two-wheeler riders to facilitate calls.

Here’s how the S bike mode works:
Quick Activation: The Galaxy J3 has in-built NFC hardware and the device has an S bike mode NFC Tag. Users can gently tap the Samsung Galaxy J3 on this tag to activate or deactivate the S bike mode. This one also has an option to use the quick panel and activate or deactivate the feature.
Urgent Call Alert System: The S bike mode in Samsung Galaxy J3 users does not allow calls or notifications to get through while a user is riding the bike. However, in case of emergency, a caller can press 1 to make a call.
Motion Lock: The motion lock feature in Samsung Galaxy J3 ensures that if a user decides to take the urgent incoming call, he brings his bike to a halt. The phone does not allow the incoming call to get answered during the motion lock mode.
Users can also see a log of call notifications while the mode is enabled. The S bike feature comes with smart reply which can be activated to send auto-SMS with an estimate of when the user is likely to be available for a call.
Samsung Galaxy J3 S bike mode has a dashboard of time and distance travelled using the S bike mode. Users can win up to Rs 1,500 per month from Freecharge for being a responsible rider.
Samsung Galaxy J3 is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM and expandable 8GB storage. On the camera front, Samsung has added an 8-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera.
