It’s not clear whether the Asus Zenfone 2 will be available exclusively on Flipkart, although Asus has promised that they will not apply a flash sale model with the device, which is good news. Users can register on Flipkart to get more details about the Asus Zenfone 2 when it launches.

The Asus ZenFone 2 was unveiled at CES 2015 in January. It features a 13MP PixelMaster camera, and a 64-bit Intel Atom Z3580 processor with 4GB RAM. It comes with an Intel LTE-Advanced modem for 4G/LTE connectivity. The ZenFone 2 has a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS+ screen and is powered by a 3000mAh battery.
We had noted in our first impressions of the Asus Zenfone 2 the display quality and viewing angles appeared decent, while the smartphone’s performance was fairly smooth.
The success of the Asus Zenfone 2 will of course depend on the pricing and there’s no doubt that the company is hoping to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Oppo and other new players in India. We’ll have to wait and see how the Asus Zenfone 2 does in the Indian market.
