With the launch of the iPhone 15 series, Apple seems to have officially discontinued the iPhone mini lineup, with the iPhone 13 mini being the last device in the compact smartphone series.

The iPhone 13 mini (review) marks the end of the company’s ‘mini’ series, with Apple no longer selling any 5.4-inch device. This does not come as a surprise since interest in Apple’s mini lineup has plummeted exponentially in the last few years, with the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini being the least-sold devices by the company.

Launched in September 2021, the iPhone 13 mini is powered by the A15 Bionic chip and features a 5.4-inch Super Retina XDR OLED screen that comes with 800 nits brightness and is protected by Ceramic Shield glass.

The phone offered IP68 protection and came with iOS 15 out of the box. It has a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary sensor accompanied by another 12MP ultrawide lens. The base variant of the iPhone 13 mini, which comes with 128GB of storage is not available on Amazon but Flipkart is selling it for Rs 61,999.

Every year, soon after Apple debuts its latest iPhone lineup, the tech giant shelves off some older models. Apart from the iPhone 13 mini, other phones that were discontinued include the iPhone 12, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. All these phones were also delisted from the Apple India website. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus still remain available for purchase.

If you are looking for an Apple phone under 6 inches, the only available option is the company’s iPhone SE, which has a 4.7-inch LCD screen and features the same A15 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 13 mini. However, the phone lacks several features like FaceID and dual cameras to name a few.
