The foldable smartphone market grew by 49 per cent in Q1 2024, reports Counterpoint, thanks to a variety of offerings across different price segments. However, foldable phones still make up less than 1.5 per cent of the overall smartphone market.

While the novelty of foldable displays and premium designs is attracting more customers, price remains a challenge. Fortunately, previous-generation foldables are now available at lower prices, making this innovative technology more accessible than ever.
