According to a recent blog post by Sony, the new Astro Bot game “features over 50 planets, new powerups, lots of enemies, secrets and PlayStation-infused characters to collect.” The new game also features a Dualsense wireless controller that comes to life to as a character to help Astro Bot on his mission.

The new Astro Bot-themed wireless controller has “Astro’s signature blue accents on the handles and buttons”, with Astro Bot’s eyes on the touchpad that are static and cannot change their expression.
Similar to Sony’s DualSense controller for the PlayStation 5, the Astro Bot-themed controller comes with features like haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and motion control. Team Asobi, the gaming studio behind the upcoming Astro Bot game has also added several unique interactions.
The AstroBot DualSense wireless controller is currently available for pre-order for $79.99 (approx. Rs 6,632). However, a report by GameRant suggests that it is already out of stock on e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Best Buy, with reportedly no plans to stock until the game launches, but the PlayStation Direct storefront seems to be the only retailer currently accepting pre-orders in the United States.
