Cricket 24 developers Big Ant Studios and NACON today announced that the game will go on sale from October 5. Available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PS4 and PS5, the upcoming game includes teams from all around the world with the developers claiming that the title will offer ‘the most complete video game simulation of cricket seen to date.’
Earlier this year, the gaming studio shared that this will be the first time a cricket game will have Indian teams. While tournaments like KFC BBL and Webber WBBL are set to make a comeback, the game will have new additions like ‘The Hundred’, Pakistan and ‘Caribbean Premier League’. A number of professional Indian T20 teams will also be added to the game sometime later.
Players will also be able to experience ‘The Ashes’ with gamers getting the chance to play their own Ashes journey with unique commentary for total immersion. Apart from detailed cutscenes, players can also participate in press conferences and team training sessions. You can enjoy the game mode as a single player or join the Australian or English teams.
Another notable addition is the revamped fielding system and the new Pro Team mode that lets gamers pick up their favourite players from 200+ players in the catalogue and create their own team and play in over 50 detailed stadiums.
Cricket 24 will be cross-platform compatible, meaning players on different devices can play with one another. The game will be released on October 5 on PlayStation, Xbox and PC with the Nintendo Switch version coming out later in November. It is currently available for pre-order for Rs 4,299.
