Activision Blizzard, the gaming giant acquired by Microsoft last year has launched Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 worldwide. The 21st installment in the multi-million dollar franchise occurs in a fictional version of the Gulf War in the early 90s. Following in the footsteps of the rogue operatives Troy Marshall and Frank Woods, who are working to assemble a team of agents to find and hunt down Pantheon, a force that has already infiltrated the Central Intelligence Agency and labels anyone who goes against them as a traitor to the nation. Like previous Call of Duty titles, Black Ops 6 also feature a multiplayer and zombie mode, with the former having 16 new maps at launch while the zombie mode brings 2 new maps. The developers have also ported over features like the omnidirectional movement system, which allows players to sprint, dive and slide in any direction. However, Call of Duty developer has confirmed that Black Ops 6 will not be available in Kuwait. While Kuwaiti authorities are yet to explicitly state the reason behind the ban, rumour has it that the launch was halted because the game depicts the 1990 Gulf War between Iraw and US-led coalition forces. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox and can also be purchased from the Microsoft Store or BattleEye. It is also available as part of the Xbox Game Pass. If you happen to buy games from Steam, the normal version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is selling for Rs 5,999, while the Vault Edition, which comes with additional goodies can be purchased for Rs 7,999.
