Full list of PoTM in IPL finals from 2008 to 2025: Krunal Pandya has emerged as a true clutch player for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, leading them to their first Indian Premier League (IPL) title in 18 years after RCB beat Punjab Kings in the IPL 2025 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. In what was an open game for both teams after RCB managed 190 batting first, Krunal turned out to be the gamechanger with his tight 4-0-17-2 spell.
The left-arm finger spinner bowled tight overs and removed two big names, Prabhsimran Singh and Josh Inglish, who both were settled at the middle and looking dangerous for RCB. With a terrific performance with the ball, Krunal was chosen the Player of the Match (PoTM) in the final and became only the first player in the history of the league to have won two PoTM in an IPL final.
Earlier, in 2017, his 47 off 38 for the Mumbai Indians against Rising Pune Supergiants in a low-scoring thriller final helped MI clinch their third IPL title.
He also won his fourth IPL final, joining a very elusive list of players to win four or more Indian Premier League trophies.
