Baroda all-rounder Krunal Pandya was Retained via RTM by Mumbai Indians at Rs 8.8 crore at the IPL 2018 auctions. Krunal has been an importnat part of the MI franchise since making his debut for them in 2016 edition. Krunal has so far played 25 matches for MI where he has scored 480 runs at a strike rate of 158.41 and has scalped 16 wickets. The left-hander has also maintained good economical rate and his tally reads 7.15. Krunal faced
a set back in 2015 when he underwent a shoulder injury and was forced to stay out of action for almost an year. But that didn't really affect his selection in the Mumbai Indians squad in 2016 as the franchise bought him for a sum of Rs 2 crore in that auction. He has so far played 48 T20s scoring 739 runs at a strike rate of 149.50 and has picked 39 wickets.
