Here’s the tip-off ahead of the CSK vs RR

Stokes to miss out

England all-rounder Ben Stokes is set to miss out on yet another IPL 2023 match due to a heel injury he sustained. CSK Head Coach Stephen Fleming earlier provided an update on Stokes and said that he needs a few more days to recover and that the team is in no mood to rush. Stokes played the first two games of the season and has been on the sidelines since.

Deepak Chahar still unlikely

Another notable absentee for MS Dhoni’s Chennai this season is all-rounder Deepak Chahar. He sustained an injury and has been out since. It is understood that he will not take the field any time soon.

Adam Zampa to get a game

Adam Zampa participated in the match last two weeks versus CSK. Given how little the Royals have utilised Jason Holder’s all-around skills, the Australian legspinner may be able to rejoin the fray.
