Bumrah has turned this game on its head in the second spell. He picked up Shahrukh Khan as well. It was an incoming delivery that the batter tried to work on the leg-side and got the inside edge onto the stumps. This is him operating at the peak of his powers like we see in red-ball cricket. Slowly but steadily, Bumrah is getting to his full throttle. Now Titans are in proper trouble. Rashid Khan has walked into the middle, and it is an interesting passage of play now. As Bumrah is done, Titans can look to take on the bowlers.

Well, well, since the resumption, this game has turned on its head. First, it was Bumrah to Shubman Gill as the ball moved back into the batter, and Gill lost the middle stump, and Boult in the following over picked up Rutherford as the ball jagged back in and the batter missed it completely. This is a perfect start for the Mumbai Indians after the break. It did seem like the Titans were running away with it but Mumbai has turned around. Tewatia and Sharukh are in the middle for the Titans and they need to bat sensibly here. 

We are back, and Bumrah is resuming the bowling. It will be interesting to see how Titans will approach this chase from here on. Will they go all guns blazing or continue the way they have been batting, which is to bat as deep as possible and pull off the game.

Pat Cummins' impressive three-wicket haul helped restrict Delhi Capitals to a low score of 133/7. It has started to rain quite heavily here, and the Titans are ahead in this game. While it seems like seesaw battle Gujarat has always been a step ahead. The smartest thing they did on the evening was to make sure they had not lost the wicket and once the partnerships kept building, runs started coming. Apart from the fielding Titans have played it quite smartly. They have taken the strategic time out now, and if we won't have game here it is Titans who will win this game.

Ashwani Kumar has picked up Jos Buttler here. It was a wide delivery which Buttler threw his hands at, but the underedge went to the keeper to Rickelton. While it was not given out initially, it was sent upstairs to Hardik Pandya, and there was a spike on the ultra-edge. As we update, Will Jacks has come into the attack to bowl against left-hander Rutherford, who has been substituted. There is a lot on Shubman Gill here. He needs to anchor this innings. At this point, he is going less than run-a--ball and that has to change quickly. 

We have another update here. Bosch got hit by a delivery in the first innings on the head and hence he has been substituted for Ashwani Kumar who came into the attack. Strange chase this is turning out to be. It seems like both teams are trying their best not to get over the line. The overs are going at snail's pace, and there is a constant drizzle going on. Regardless, Titans are in a good position here and they can win this. What Mumbai needs to make a game out of this is to pick a few quick wickets and get into the middle-order of the Mumbai Indians.

Pandya has bowled an 11-ball over here. While all the eyes were on the air, this over has eased a lot of pressure on the Titans. In the last 20 minutes or so, this game has turned quite significantly and seems like the Titans have now got the tempo of this innings. As we have mentioned before, chases like this it is only a matter of one over where the momentum swings and seems like Hardik's over might just have given enough to the Titans to get through this game. Karn Sharma has come into bowling We have seen some turn in the first innings and it will be interesting to see if gets any.

The game continues to go on here. It is still drizzling, and GT is behind the DLS par score. It seems like one side wants to get it heavier, and the game stops so that they can win on the DLS method, meanwhile the other team is playing this like a normal game. Also, one more thing to be noted here is that GT has survived the tough passage of the play against Mumbai Indians' new ball bowlers. Both teams would be aware that the strength of GT lies in the top there and they have to do major work and both the batters in the middle are quite good in assessing things in chases like these.

Interesting and unusual move from Hardik Pandya here first up. He used two overs of Bumrah in this powerplay, which we did not see a lot of. These are the kind of scores where things get quite tactical for the defending teams. An over here and over there might be all that will be enough for the chasing teams to turn the tide. And the way both Shubman Gill and Buttler have batted, they do realise this new ball is a difficult passage if they do manage to get through this Mumbai Indians have only one frontline spinner. As we update it starts to pour down again.

We have quite a bit of drizzle here and a breeze too. Not sure yet why the umpires have not taken the players off, it just might be a hope that the wind might take the rain away. However, Gill was unhappy with it. What the rain does is whenever the ball goes on the outfield and gets wet it will become difficult for the MI bowlers to grip and extract something out of pitch. And a bit of moisture on the wicket just might quicken it up helping the batters. While there was a lack of dew with all that rain, there might be a similar effect Mumbai has to pick a few wickets while conditions are like this or it can get easier.

Deepak Chahar has taken the new ball for the Mumbai Indians. There was not much swing on offer,, but the ball is not coming onto the bat. The dew has not set in yet,, and it might be the case that it won't,, and Mumbai might have a fair shot in this defence. Trent Boult has taken the ball from the other end, and as we update, he picked up Sai Sudharsan. The ball after pitching on the fourth stump line moved away slightly and Sai Sudharsan could not do much about it. Titans have lost their first wicket early in the piece we just might have a humdinger on our hands folks.

I have missed my lengths (earlier in this tournament), made sure to hit the right areas. You are not in your best rhythm during rehab (after 3-4 months of the surgery), it takes time to get back to your best. I am getting there slowly, 75-80% there. I need to make sure that I get that surgery out of my mind. You need to hit the right areas as a spinner. The way Sai bowled his spell and took two wickets, it was good. We need to make sure whoever goes in to bat takes the responsibility of scoring those runs.

Bosch did play a good hand and if not for his innings Mumbai Indians would have not even got to 150. It is not enough though, and they will need to bowl well. They have brought in Karn Sharma as an impact sub, which means he has to do the bowling as well. As per Titans,, despite all the fielding errors they committed,, they still managed to restrict Mumbai to a below-par score. The bowling from the spinners through the middle overs has been superb. However, we have to wait and see if Karn Sharma can extract the same amount of turn as the dew will set in. Do join in for all the live action from the second innings.

Mumbai Indians need to bowl well here in the second innings. There is no two ways about it. It is a power-packed batting line-up that failed to put runs on the board. Bosch is putting a bit of fight here but it is not enough later with the ball he has to make the impact too.

Another wicket has perished here for the Mumbai Indians, and it is Naman Dhir. It was the hard-length delivery from the bowler which Dhir tried to go down the ground and whack it over the mid-off fielder, and was caught. Mumbai's situation has gone from bad to worse here. To be fair to them, batting first on this ground has been quite a tricky business. This season, the wicket has behaved unlike the usual Wankhede we are accustomed to. There was this one game between Bengaluru and Mumbai which was high-scoring, apart from that is has been batting first has been difficult. 

Coetzee has picked up Tilak Varma, and Mumbai have now lost six wickets and are under the threat of getting bowled out before the 20-over mark. It has been quite a slowish wicket, the ball has been sticking in the surface; however, in the second innings, if the dew were to set in the ball will skid on nicely Hence it seems like Mumbai are in a bit of trouble. Naman Dhir is a powerful hitter and Bosch too can handle himself if both of these players can take them to 170 it will give them at least a fighting chance. But to assured of a win, they will need a lot more than that.

Mumbai Indians are losing their way here. Gujarat Titans have managed to pick up quite a few wickets. It was Hardik Pandya who tried to stamp his authority by hitting one on the leg-side, but the ball took the top edge and looped in the air, and Shubman Gill, running backward, completed the catch. All that was going wrong for the Titans in the initial phase has suddenly started to click in the last 15 minutes or so. As per the Mumbai Indians, they are under a serious threat of ending with a below-par total. As we update, Coetzee has come into the attack.

It was first Sai Kishore who got rid of Suryakumar Yadav, who did get that inside-out shot right most times until he did not and was caught at long-off. As per Jacks, he has struggled through the evening picking Rashid Khan, and eventually he slog swept one and holed at square-leg. While it was a charmed innings from both of them for most of it they managed lay a foundation, however, eventually both perished and Mumbai still are in quite a bit of pickle and are under a threat of crumbling in this final few overs. Hardik and Tilak are in middle they have to play it sensibly. As we update Sai Kishore picks up Hardik here.

We have had a couple of reviews in the previous over, but both went in favor of the Mumbai Indians. The Will Jacks one was much closer than the Suryakumar Yadav one.  As the only thing which helped Jacks was the umpire's call on the wicket's hitting meanwhile, for Surya, the ball was bouncing over the stumps. They have had quite a bit of luck here, did the Mumbai batters. We can't go too much into ifs and buts, but if some of those chances had been taken, we might have a different game here. As we update Jacks has got to his half-century in the middle and Sai Kishore has picked up Suryakumar Yadav.

Suryakumar Yadav is batting brilliantly here. He has this happy habit of getting into his 30s in the blink of an eye, and that is what he did today. He is playing some lovely inside-out shots against the spinners and seems to have got his eye in and is adjusted to the pace of the wicket. Shubman Gill has the option of another pacer in Coetzee which he is yet to deploy. While spinners are getting a bit of turn in Surya is in that sort of form where, despite pre-meditating is able to adjust his shot in the final moments. 

Titans have dropped three catches in the powerplay and all in the close vicinity of the batters. While the one Sai Sudharsan dropped has gone a bit too quickly but the others were quite simple. Shubman Gill and Ashish Nehra looked distorted. Mumbai would be considering itself very lucky here, as things could have gone even worse for them today. But both Jacks and Surya are still in the middle and they will be hoping to build a partnership here. Sai Kishore has come into the middle, and one of his deliveries gripped and turned, indicative of the moisture presence still in the wicket.

It was not a fluent innings from Rohit he was trying to manufacture shots which were not there and eventually he tried to hit one over the top through the off-side but the sticky nature of the wicket was at display there yet again as Rohit went through with his shot too early and ended up getting caught inside the ring. Mumbai has to be a tad bit careful here. They have the power in the batting to score a big one but over-attacking might just cause two many wickets to fall early. They have lost two wickets already which is one too many.

Since the wicket, the Mumbai Indians have been able to find the boundaries at regular intervals. While at times we have seen wickets here start a bit slowly and get better as evening goes this season today things have been different. It has started quite flat and seems like it will get flatter as the evening goes on, which means the Mumbai Indians need to get a very high score. Titans have a very good batting order themselves, and the top three have been in pretty good form. As we update Arshad Khan has picked up Rohit Sharma

It was a soft dismissal for Ryan Rickelton. The ball was there to hit for a boundary however, he timed it straight to short cover. While it is a good, sharp catch but it was also clever field placement to have that fielder close in. Siraj has had the knack of picking wickets, and he did it once again today. Will Jacks has walked into the middle for the Titans. Though an early wicket has fallen, the suggestions so far are that this is a pretty good wicket to bat. 

The umpires are walking into the middle. It is going to be a cracking game of cricket. These are two quality sides going after each other. Ryan Rickelton is jogging in while Rohit Sharma is strolling in a calm manner, meanwhile Titans are in a huddle.

Always a learning curve, was always expecting to bowl at different times. The tournament has been exciting, the team has been travelling well, it is a huge game tonight at home and I'm looking forward to it. Maybe a bit more reverse (swing), less conventional, the wickets have been pretty solid, the guys have adopted plans, we've to be on our game tonight, it's a high scoring ground and reverse swing could come into play. The top-order has been doing a tremendous job for them (on Gujarat Titans), they've played some good cricket and have good bowlers. That's why they're high on the table, we'll have to play some good cricket to beat them. In T20 cricket, momentum plays a big role, we're not looking too far ahead, looking forward to a good game tonight and taking it one game at a time.

We don't mind batting. There's a lot of breeze. Will be fine to bowl second in such conditions as well. For us it's important to execute our plans. In IPL, anyone can come in and change a game. We need to stick to our plans and be ruthless for 20 overs. We need to maintain discipline, need to be humble and focussed. We are playing with the same team.

We will bowl first. I don't think the wicket will change much, got to have a total on the board and then chase it. It's all about delivering our best as a team. We have one change. Arshad comes back for Sundar. Rabada is back (in the squad), but he will need a few practice sessions and a few games to get back in his groove. We are fortunate that we can use Kishore when needed. We have 6-7 bowling options.

The Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai is known for being a high-scoring venue in the IPL. Recent matches there have seen Mumbai Indians successfully chase a target quickly and also post a high score to win by a significant margin. This reinforces the idea that the pitch at the Wankhede generally favors batsmen and leads to matches with a lot of runs.

"He's an outstanding batsman and really has a bright future as far as his batting is concerned but what's pleasing to see is that he's growing as far as leadership is concerned and he's really grown into the role of captaincy. So that's great to see. When you have somebody that is as gifted, as talented, as exceptional as Shubman is as a batsman sometimes you might have concerns around whether the weight of leadership would bear heavy.

"With (Punjab) Kings having that odd number because of the rained-off game, all that we as a franchise can control or I as a coach can control is to focus on the game tomorrow and then after that the next game. We have three good games against us, which is good for us. So, we just want to do what we've been doing, play some good cricket. Boys are focused on that and the rest I can't control. So, my focus will be what I can control at this point and just keep focusing on that.
