Congress today described the BJP staking claim to form a government in Jharkhand as an “unholy and opportunistic alliance”,while Left and other parties called for dissolution of the House to stop horse trading.
“The NDA has once again stitched up an unholy and opportunistic alliance. The Governor should deeply study the situation before taking a decision,” JPCC president Pradeep Kumar Balmachu said.
“Had the House been dissolved earlier the BJP and allies would not have got any opportunity to team up which is not in the interest of the state,” RJD state general secretary Manohar Yadav,CPI(M) state secretary J S Majumdar and his CPI counterpart B P Mehta said.
The RJD and Left parties have demanded immediate dismissal of the Assembly, which is now in suspended animation.
