Chautala case: Consider security plea, says court

A court has directed CBI Director Anil Kumar Sinha to consider the plea of a Congress MLA from Haryana and a prosecution witness in a disproportionate assets case, allegedly involving INLD chief O P Chautala’s son, Abhay, for adequate security to him and his family alleging threat from the accused. The court’s order came while disposing of an application filed by witness Karan Singh Dalal, who is the Palwal MLA. Dalal had asked for security, alleging that they were being threatened by the accused.
