Tamil Nadu: Three foetuses found in drainage channel

Health department workers retrieved the foetuses and are holding investigations in hospitals in and around the locality, police said.

In an alleged case of foeticide, three foetuses were seen floating on Monday in a drainage channel in the district, police said.

Residents of Thuvarankurichi near Manaparai saw the foetuses floating one behind another in the channel. The residents then informed the police.

Health department workers retrieved the foetuses and are holding investigations in hospitals in and around the locality, police said.
