Massive procession to mark end of “Year of Mercy” in Aizawl
Cardinal Toppo conducted a mass and closing of the Door of Mercy at the Christ King Cathedral at Tlangnuam locality in Aizawl this morning before the commencement of the procession.
Members of the Catholic Church belonging to different parishes within the Aizawl Diocese today took out a massive procession in Aizawl to mark the end of the “Year of Mercy”.
Local Catholic leaders said that the procession, also known as the ‘Procession of the Eucharist’ was led by Ranchi-based His Eminent Telesphoro Cardinal P Toppo where Reverend Stephen Rotluanga, Bishop of Aizawl Diocese, also participated.
