SALEM, May 24: A youth consumed cyanide at a marriage hall here after failing to convince the bride to go with him. The 25-year-old youth, yet to be identified, took the small sickle kept near the purohit to break the coconut and threatened the bride. When the crowd overpower him, he consumer cyanide and died on the spot.
