The Australian team is known for its professionalism. They have a back up army in physio Errol Alcott, a massage therapist in Lucy Frostick and added to the list, of late, is yoga instructor Kate Turner.

Terming the new development as worthwhile, coach John Buchanan said, ‘‘The sessions are going on very well and it’s something we can utilise for rest and recovery.’’

Asked why the Aussies have kept this as a secret, Buchanan quipped: ‘‘She might like to invite you all for a session and you can then testify whether there is excellence or not.’’

With a fleet of staff — security incharge David Ross, team manager Steve Bernad, assistant coach Tim Nielson ( he provides computer analysis) and media manager Jonathan Rose — to support their players, the Aussies may lack the help of a medico. In fact, the last time Brett Lee had to return home with an injury from Sri Lanka it triggered a debate Down Under.

Maybe, the next time when the Aussies come here, they may have bridged that gap as well.
