AUGUST 6: All the six woman sub-inspectors who were transferred from the crime branch on July 29 have been retained in their respective units with immediate effect.
8220;Their transfer orders have been revoked for the time being and they will continue serving in the crime branch,8221; confirmed a senior crime branch officer. However, their transfer has been stalled only for a temporary period and could be effected any time in the near future, sources said.
