CHANDIGARH, Aug 18: A one-day workshop on Daily Work Management was held today at the Confederation of Indian Industries CII.
Daily Work Management is a tool that helps the organisation to learn and practise the science of managing by facts8217;, which was the message given out by the workshop, conducted by P. Girish, counsellor, CII.
The prorgramme enumerated the advantages of daily work management, highlighting it as means to benchmark quantity and quality, with daily planning to achieve targets, check lists for various work activities, gap analysis and review plans, daily Plan Do Check Act for counter-measures and prevention. The training programme was attended by senior production managers, quality assurance managers, purchase managers, production engineers and first line managers from various companies of the northern region, spoke on the principles and practise of Daily Work Management.
