Ken Ghosh never switches off. The man who made our very own Indipop stars look respectable in their umpteen music videos does not mark out weekends, he usually works through the week. He does not dash off on sudden holidays, he plans them days ahead, making sure he can be reached in any obscure corner of the world. And he always fits in a few hours of work, no matter how slack the day. He hates going through the guilt pangs later.
That doesn8217;t mean Ghosh is always buried in work. He just has a problem 8220;doing nothing.8221; Fun for him is bungee-jumping, parachuting, flying, partying, or just taking his son to the park. 8220;I manage to take my son out often. I am not a super-celebrity, so I just get a few stares. And that is fine by me because the moment you become a super-celebrity everything you do is put under the microscope.8221;
He is perfectly comfortable going out for a Hindi movie or drinks with his buddies once in a week or two. But when he gets home, Ghosh prefers dozing off in front of the TV rather than a book. After all, he has to keep in touch with the latest in showbiz. The other must on his daily schedule is his one to one-and-a-half hours of exercising, when he is either working out or playing squash.
He has scheduled his next break for December. After a short trip to Dubai, this music man will be off to Bali for New Year 2000.
