Youth Cong vs Brand Modi

While the Congress has been struggling to counter Narendra Modi’s popularity in Gujarat — where first his anti-minority image and then his development card clicked in the last two Assembly elections — the Indian Youth Congress led by Rahul Gandhi believes it has found the solution. Youth Congress leaders feel Brand Modi has not found favour with the youth in Gujarat. During its recent membership drive,about seven lakh enrolled with the Youth Congress in Gujarat — double the enrollment in Punjab. The Youth Congress is now planning to hold a series of programmes for the youth in the state with the ambitious aim of unsettling Modi.
