White wash

Winter is a season of contrasts. Of biting winds and foggy mornings,bonfires and cosy evenings. But also of power outages,loss of lives and train delays. As much as it gives us picture-perfect postcards of snow-blanketed roofs and frosted chinars,it also throws up images of trouble ice-laden railway tracks and cars shrouded in snow.
