Talking about youth,while the Madhya Pradesh Congress unit,despite a number of high-profile leaders,failed to deliver in the recent Assembly elections,young Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia is considered to have outperformed the rest. According to an analysis done by some party leaders,33 candidates of Scindias choice were given party tickets under the quota system. Of these,15 won,ensuring a success rate of over 45 per cent. As per the data compiled and collated by MP leaders,the success percentage of other senior leaders in the state calculated on the basis of the ratio between the number of seats allotted to them and the number of winning candidates were: Digvijay Singh: 41 per cent (16 out of 39 seats allotted); Kamal Nath: 35 per cent (17 out of 48); Suresh Pachauri: about 24 per cent (11 out of 46); Arjun Singh: 8.69 per cent (2 out of 23).
