Team Anna sends Nitish suggestions

Team Anna,which attacked the Bihar Lokayukta Bill draft,provoking Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to say “he did not need a certificate from anyone”,has put its suggestions before the state government.

Team Anna’s core members recently wrote to Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi,who heads a three-member Cabinet sub-committee to finalise the draft of the Bihar Lokayukta Bill,2011.

The Bill will be presented in the winter session of the Assembly next month. While the state government has proposed a seven-member panel under the CM’s chairmanship to appoint the Lokayukta,Team Anna is opposed to this saying it should have Opposition members as well.
