Tata Elxsi in JV with Quantum

Quantum Corp.,a leading global specialist in backup,recovery and archive,on Tuesday said it has entered into a distribution partnership in India with Tata Elxsi,the product engineering company of the USD 70 billion Tata group.

Tata Elxsi will market,resell,service and support Quantum disk-based backup,tape and software products in India.

These products will be marketed to end users,as well as other India-based value-added resellers. In addition,Tata Elxsi will become a Quantum-authorised service provider,which will allow the company to provide maintenance and support services for customers and channel partners,a statement here said.
