The wholesale sugar prices closed steady in the national capital today following sporadic buying amid restricted supply.

The wholesale sugar prices closed steady in the national capital today following sporadic buying amid restricted supply.

Marketmen said apart from new month demand among retailers and bulk consumers adequate stocks position mainly held prices unmoved.

The following were today8217;s rates per quintal: Sugar ready: M-30 3,750-3,940,S-30 3,725-3,900. Mill delivery: M-30 3,500-3,780; S-30 3,475-3,760.

Sugar mill gate excluding duty: Mawana 3670,Kinnoni 3780,Asmoli 3680,Dorala 3650,Budhana 3700,Thanabhavan 3670,Ramala 3490,Bulandshar N.T,Morna 3500,Sakoti 3490,Chandpur 3565,Dhanora 3620,Khatuli 3630,Baghpat 3500 and

Amroha 3570.
