Legendary singer Manna Dey,94, is in a critical but stable condition after being admitted to a hospital due to chest infection. The Dadasaheb Phalke awardee was taken to the hospital Saturday. No change at all in his condition. He is stable, a senior doctor at Narayana Hrudayalaya said. Dey has recorded more than 3,500 songs in a number of languages. Born in Kolkata,Dey currently resides in Bangalore. He was being treated at his home for the past two weeks.
