Seven cases pending against Tunda in UP

Alleged Lashkar-e-Toiba operative Abdul Karim alias Tunda has seven criminal cases pending against him in UP. A native of Hapurs Ashok Nagar locality,Abdul Karim,now 73-years-old,came into light when his alleged associate Dr Jalees Ansari was arrested in 1994. A joint team of Delhi and UP Police then raided the house of Abdul Karim on January 14,1994 and recovered explosives,knives,cartridges and other things from his house. The police said he was also found involved in the 1993 serial blasts which occurred in Howrahs and Delhi-bound Rajdhani Express trains.
