Shiv Sena MLA Anil Kadam,who had allegedly abused women staff at a toll-booth on the Mumbai-Agra national highway,submitted his resignation to party chief Uddhav Thackeray Saturday. The Niphad MLA tendered his resignation to Thackeray at Ojhar airport in the morning while the Sena chief was on his way to Shirdi,party district unit chief Jayant Dinde said Owning the responsibility of the toll-booth incident,Kadam tendered his resignation as party legislator, Dinde said. Video footage aired by a news channel purportedly showed Kadam abusing the all-women staff at the booth. Police said he lost his cool because the staff demanded toll from him.
