The shooting,which took off on April 15,will end on May 6 in a start-to-finish schedule. Mahie concedes that every time she walks into Dheeraj Solitare in suburban Mumbai,where the film is being shot,a shiver goes down her spine. The flat in which we are shooting is a few floors below where Maria lived and where the murder took place. Every time I enter the building I get an eerie feeling. I try to visualise what could have transpired there on that day when Maria Susairaj killed media executive Neeraj Grover with her lover Emile Jerome Mathew,and chopped his body into pieces, says the actress.

Mahie will be sporting two looks in the film one with long locks and the other with short hair. I shall be sporting long tresses in the beginning of the film when my character,Anusha Chawla,arrives in Mumbai from Chandigarh, she says adding that other details about her mannerisms,look and clothes were worked out by Ramu who did an extensive research about Maria by talking to her friends.

Off screen,Mahie,who came to Mumbai at the time of the murder,recalls how she had trouble getting accommodation as no one was willing to rent out their houses to a single woman. Thats one reason why I could never forget Maria, she says.

The rest of the cast comprises Ajay Gehi,who plays Neeraj,and Deepak Dobriyal as Emile. Not A Love Story is scheduled to release later this year.
