Saregama launches Trinity

Saregama is paying a tribute to M.G. Ramachandran,Sivaji Ganesan and Gemini Ganesan with the first volume of Trinity,which showcases for the first time the biggest hits of these stars together in the same album.

Tamil cinema has completed 75 years and despite staying away from the arclights M.G. Ramachandran,Sivaji Ganesan and Gemini Ganesan are still considered as the Trinity of this film industry down South. Music company Saregama is paying a tribute to them with the first volume of Trinity,which showcases for the first time the biggest hits of these stars together in the same album. Chennai saw legendary music director M.S.Vishwanathan launch this set at a music store on January 21. The first three copies were gifted to K. Bhagyaraj,called MGRs Kalai Varisu or film world heir,Ramkumar,the elder son of Sivaji Ganesan and Dr Kamala Selvaraj,the elder daughter of Gemini Ganesan. Trinity Vol. 1 features MGRs Acham enbathu,Shivajis Pengalai nambaathe and Vantha naal muthal,Geminis Vaarayo vennilave and Kaalangalil aval vasantham among other super-hit songs.

Trinity is a chronologically arranged compilation so Vol. 2 due to release in March will have the later hits of their careers. Vol. 1 is priced at Rs 399.
