Edible oil-maker Ruchi Soya Industries RSIL said it clocked 25.76 per cent growth in net profit to Rs 21.77 crore in the quarter ended March 31.
The company8217;s net profit stood at Rs 17.31 crore in the fourth quarter of FY8217;10,it said in a release issued here.
RSIL8217;s revenue also jumped by 43.85 per cent to Rs 4,811.55 crore in the fourth quarter of FY8217;11 from Rs 3,344.62 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The higher capacity utilisation of crushing at the backdrop of favourable crop year and greater focus on exports contributed to better performance during the financial year 2010-11,8221; RSIL Managing Director Dinesh Shahra said.
He said with this positive growth momentum,the company expects to perform better in the coming quarters.

The cumulative net profit of the company rose by 16.88 per cent in 2010-11 to Rs 201.59 crore from Rs 172.47 crore in FY8217;10,it said.
The company8217;s net sales increased by 23.63 per cent to Rs 16,702.78 crore in FY8217;11 from 13,509.86 crore in the previous fiscal.
The volume of oilseed crushing also surged by 95.84 per cent to 1.84 million tonnes in the reporting year from 0.94 million tonnes in FY8217;10.
Export volumes of meal extraction improved by 78.54 per cent to 1.13 million tonnes in the 2010-11 financial year from 0.63 million tonnes and in terms of value,they rose by 65.09 per cent to Rs 1,979.06 crore from Rs 1,198.76 crore.
