RIL rebukes RNRL for ad campaign

Mukesh-led Reliance Industries said the propaganda was intended at prejudging the issues pending before courts.

Hitting back at Anil Ambani group’s advertisement campaign against it and the Petroleum Ministry over the gas issue,Mukesh-led Reliance Industries today said the propaganda was intended at prejudging the issues pending before courts.

“As stated earlier, the release of the advertisement completely demonstrates the fact that RNRL is indulging in an orchestrated campaign intended to bring into public debate and prejudge the issues that are pending before the Honourable Courts,” an RIL spokesperson said in a statement.

The reaction has come in the backdrop of front-page advertisements in almost all the national dailies, starting Monday this week,by the Anil Ambani group wherein it has alleged RIL of making super-normal profits with the help of the petroleum ministry.
