Reliance to launch Robocamp

Students can learn all about robotics technology.

Retail chain major Reliance World,a division of the Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group would launch Robocamp for students of classes four to twelve in the City.

For offering this service,the company has entered into partnership with robo.in a division of ThinkLABs,a company release here said.

The first phase of this camp would be launched in Chennai on April 19 at nine Reliance World Stores,it said.

The camp aims to give students an opportunity to get introduced to Robotics technology and would also help the students learn the principles of science and mathematics through Robotics.

“Reliance World has always leveraged technology and reach to bring innovative services to virtually every neighbourhood of the country. With ROBOCAMP,we wish to spark an interest in Robotics among students at an early stage-in big cities as well as small towns and equip them to take up this discipline in later years”,Reliance Webstore Ltd Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing Sunil Buch said.

The participants of the camp would be eligible to enter the National Robotics Competition to be held at IIT Bombay.
