Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi espoused the cause of equal opportunity for the first time during an interaction with students at the National College here on Saturday. Reacting to a students comment that removal of the reservation system would help revamp the education system,he said in an urban set up,things are very different. Discrimination is a reality, the Congress leader said,emphasising the need to provide equal opportunity outside of urban India. Rahul was on the concluding leg of a two-day tour of Karnataka to interact with students in Mysore,Shimoga,Dharwad,Gulbarga and Bangalore.
