Ahead of the proposed rally of his recently launched Orissa Jana Morcha on October 28,suspended BJD MP Pyari Mohan Mohapatra Thursday alleged his supporters are being intimidated from joining the rally at the behest of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
If sufficient number of people are able to reach the rally,in spite of the evil designs, plans are afoot to create disturbances at the venue of the rally. Let me remind you that you are constitutionally bound to maintain law and order, Mohapatra wrote to Patnaik.
Mohapatra said differences should not be allowed to be settled through illegal actions of goons and administrative interference. You have already misused the police enough by keeping my house surrounded for the last seven months and tapping my phones illegally. You may kindly realise that there are limits to such unscruplous and undemocratic actions by the state, he wrote.
