PVR to set up 6 new centres

The first centre will come up at Noida in partnership with real estate player Logix Group.

8220;The project is in the planning and design stage and will be open to the public within 30 months from now,8221; PVR Group President Pramod Arora said.

The company estimates investments to the tune of USD 10 million per centre,which will be made by PVR along with its partners,he added.

8220;Similar projects would come up in Hyderabad,Bangalore,Chandigarh,Pune and another location in the NCR over the next three years,8221; Arora said.

PVR has a partnership with Major Cineplex Group for operating bowling alleys in the country under 8216;PVR Blu-O8217; brand.

Spread over 150,000 sq ft,the centre at Noida will comprise a 15-screen multiplex,a 26-lane bowling alley,an Olympic-size ice skating rink and food courts. This would be the company8217;s largest multiplex so far.

8220;As per our estimates,about 60 per cent of the people going to shopping malls are looking for entertainment. It is this segment that we are looking at catering,8221; Arora said.
