Protests returned to the Kashmir Valley on Eid-ul-Adha with people marching to the streets in Srinagar and other parts of the state and clashing with security personnel. Protestors hurled stones at the police and CRPF men and set a police vehicle afire. Clashes erupted soon after Eid prayers when youths gathered in the downtown localities of Nawakadal and Sekidafar and raised anti-India slogans.
