Probe RSS leaders terror links: Cong

AICC spokesperson Jayanthi Natarajan said while the entire nation was engaged in a relentless crusade against terror,there are news reports about the involvement of senior leaders of the RSS,the parent body of the BJP,with various terror groups and acts of terror. She recalled that the BJP had accused former Maharashtra ATS chief Hemant Karkare of being unpatriotic when he had first started uncovering these links. At the time of the arrest of individuals like Sadhvi Pragya Singh,leaders like L K Advani came to her defence,she noted.

We call upon the RSS to come clean about the links of senior RSS leaders with all such acts of terror and call upon the BJP to make its stand clear to the nation regarding the terror link of its parent body,RSS. We call for a thorough probe by all government agencies, Natarajan said.

Endorsing the spokespersons demand,Digvijay Singh said there are allegations by even RSS people about the involvement of Indresh Kumar senior RSS leader with the ISI. That should also be probed. He said an RSS pracharak,Sunil Joshi,had been killed but the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh got the case closed.

He said the Haryana Police had traced the Samjhauta blasts to Indore but the Madhya Pradesh Police did not cooperate. In a separate development,Singh said he was going to issue a defamation notice to Madhya Pradesh BJP president Prabhat Jha for calling him agent of Naxalites.
