Priyamani to act opposite Nagarjuna

Priyamani,whose performance in Mani Ratnams Raavan and Raavanan has won much appreciation,gets ready to act opposite none other than Nagarjuna.
Priyamani will play one of the heroines opposite Nagarjuna in the yet-to-be-named film which has Veeru Potla as the director. The other heroine will be Anushka Shetty. To be produced by D.Siva Prasad Reddy under the banner of Kamakshi Kala Movies,the film will be a big budget commercial flick.
Priyamani,meanwhile,is eagerly awaiting the release of Raktha Charitra and is at present acting in the Malayalam film,Pranchiyettan And The Saint,in which she pairs up with Mammootty for the first time.

Kavya Madhavan in Priyanandans next
Kavya Madhavan is to play the lead in the next film by critically acclaimed director Priyanandanan.
Priyanandanan,whose Pulijanmam won the National Award for the best film in 2007,had his last release in Sufi Paranja Katha. This time he is making Bhakthajanangalude Shraddhaykku,a satire based on a story penned by scenarist-director Ranjith. Irshad will play the male lead and the cast will also include Jagathy Sreekumar,Lal,Suraaj Venjaramoodu,Bijukuttan,Laloo Aalex and Nishant Sagar. Priyanandanan,who has earlier directed serious movies like Neythukaaran,Pulijanmam and Sufi Paranja Katha,is planning to make Bhakthajanangalude Shraddhaykku as a full-fledged commercial film. The movie will start rolling in September.

Gajjar shooting in Pandharpur
The shooting of Story Board Films Pvt. Ltds Marathi film Gajjar is presently on at Dindi near Pandharpur. Produced by Vibha Datta Khosala and Anuradha Gole,the film is based on Maharashtras sacred cultural march dindi from Alandi to Pandharpur,revolving around the highly-worshiped God Vitthal and saints like Dynaneshawar,Tukaram,Namdeo,Tukdoji Maharaj. The cast comprises Chinmaya Mandalekar,newfind Sukhada Yash,Suhas Shirsat,Ganpat Maharaj Jagtap and Umesh Jagtap. Adey,an actor from USA,is also featuring in a Marathi film for the first time. The movie is scheduled to release soon.

MARATHI film Yamachya Gawala Jawuya is based on recession and how the god of death Yama comes to earth in search of franchises to secure a place in swarg against a huge amount. The social satire is set to release all over Maharashtra soon. Being produced by Dyanesh Wakudkar and directed by Sanket Wakudkar from New Zealand,the film stars Vijay Chavan,Mangesh Desai,Teja Deokar,Charushila Wachhani and newcomer Sani Bhushan,in the role of Yama.
