A government school principal was arrested for allegedly molesting a teenage tribal girl

A government school principal was arrested for allegedly molesting a teenage tribal girl at Birsinghpur Pali village in the district,the police said on Sunday.

The accused,R C Prajapati,allegedly molested the 17-year-old at a hostel while the warden had gone out for some work,they said.

The complaint said the victim,a student of Government girls Higher Secondary School,returned to her hostel along with other girls at 5.45 pm on Saturday. The accused then entered the room and molested her before threatening her to remain silent,the police said.

The victim told her hostel mates about the incident. When the warden returned,she went to Pali police station and registered a complaint.
