Premium version of 3 Idiots DVD launched

A special Idioticomic book that tells the story in 60 pages is also included in the pack.

The special features8217; disc is also loaded with 15 segments on the making of the film along with director Rajkumar Hirani8217;s commentary and a photo album.

The fully loaded DVD is priced at Rs. 499. Reliance Big Home Video had also announced a contest in order to promote the DVD. Aptly titled Aal Izz Well,it was organised in association with Cox amp; Kings with the grand prize being a tour to Australia. The second prize awarded was a tour of Egypt and the third to Hong Kong. Customers could also win the Bum Seat or attractive gift hampers with the DVD. The makers had earlier launched a standard edition DVD and VCD priced at Rs 299 and Rs 160 respectively. A Blu-ray Disc release is expected to follow next month. Plans for the launch of a super premium version of the DVD containing a number of scenes not screened before along with other value additions is also in the offing.
