New Zealand PM on the sets
New Zealand Prime Minister John Key visited the sets of Viacom 18s film Players as part of his three-day trip to India. He signed a film co-production agreement that will encourage Indian filmmakers to shoot in New Zealand and also attract tourists. He arrived with an entourage of New Zealand delegates at Film City and was welcomed by the members of the films cast including Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu. The film has been extensively shot in New Zealand. I have seen a couple of photographs of the Players crew filming in Wellington and Auckland. Bollywood is a great way to showcase our country to Indian audiences, said Key.
Verdict in Neeraj Grover murder case
Three years after TV executive Neeraj Grover was stabbed to death,Maria Susairaj,a Kannada actress,was acquitted of attempt to murder and was held guilty of destroying evidence. Maria and her boyfriend Emile Jerome,a former Navy officer were given rigorous imprisonment of three years and ten years respectively by a Mumbai court. Having already served three years in the prison,Susairaj will most likely walk free. Incidentally,Ram Gopal Varma,who has made a movie,Not A Love Story based on the incident held the first look on the judgement day.
