Polls proved Mumbai not separate from state: Thackeray

In a front-page article in the party mouthpiece Saamna,the Shiv Sena supremo said that he did not have enough words to thank people.

After a surprise fourth victory for the Sena-BJP-RPI alliance in the Mumbai and Thane municipal corporations this week,Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray thanked voters for ensuring the victories and said it proved that Mumbai cannot be separated from Maharashtra.

In a front-page article in the party mouthpiece Saamna,the Shiv Sena supremo said that he did not have enough words to thank people.

Till now I used to thank you in lakhs but now will thank in crores. I do not have words today. The victory has shown that Mumbai cannot be separated from Maharashtra, Thackeray said.
