Pawar play for Karzai

When Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai arrived in Delhi last Sunday,en route to Bhutan for the SAARC Summit, India was engrossed in the IPL fever,the final of which was being played that evening. Amused,Karzai asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at a meeting the next day what the fuss was all about. Singh promptly put Karzai on to his Cabinet colleague Sharad Pawar,saying,He will tell you all about it,he is an expert on it. Pawar,the cricket administrator,did the needful but was left wondering whether there was more to the Prime Ministers statement than was heard.
