PM tells critics govt will complete term
Pakistan Premier Yousuf Raza Gilani has asserted that his government will complete its full term and warned that any attempt to remove it through unconstitutional means will be tantamount to a conspiracy to break up the country. Gilani dismissed speculation that the PPP-led coalition was on its way out well before the 2013 general elections.
Taliban behind MQM leaders death
The Taliban may have ordered the assassination of top Muttahida Quami Movement MQM leader Imran Farooq here as it had issued a fatwa against the party for its opposition to Muslim fundamentalism in Pakistan,the Daily Mail said Sunday. The theory emerged as Scotland Yards Counter Terrorism Command took charge of the investigation. Detectives are hunting for an Asian man.
