After enacting various characters on screen,actor Om Puri has recorded a song for the first time in his career.

After enacting various characters on screen,actor Om Puri has recorded a song for the first time in his career. In his upcoming film Raambhajjan Zindabaad,Puri will be seen singing a song titled Bharat Mata Ki Jai. According to the makers,the song was supposed to be recorded in October 2011,but was delayed until last week due to Puris busy schedule.

Puri also revealed that during his stint at National School of Drama,he and actor Naseeruddin Shah got only 17 marks out of 50 for their singing ability. However,music director Vipin Patwa and director Ranjeet Guptaa wanted Puri to sing some particular phrases of the song in Raambhajjan Zindabaad. The film is a political satire that will go on floors in August and will be released by this year end.

Third song of Mr. Money picturised

The picturisation of Mr. Moneys third song has been completed. The song is a Sai Baba qawwali that has been sung and picturised on Sabri brothers who were last seen in the Salman Khan starrer Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya. Directed by debutant Rikshhit Matta,Mr. Money is being produced by Sunil Gulani and Anand Gupta under the banner of Idea International while the song has been choreographed by Raju Khan. The film stars Krushna Abhishek,Asrani,Rajpal Yadav,Manoj Joshi,Eva Grover,Vrajesh Hirjee and debutante Lovely Noronah as female lead.

Music album of Chand Ke Pare released

Universal Music has released the music album of Chand Ke Pare,a movie that the makers describe as an exotic tale of sensitive,sensational and sensible relationships. The album was launched by prominent artists Javed Ali,Kavita Seth and and Sonu Kakkar last week.

The film has a blend of songs from romance to item songs to melody to soulful number and an instrumental piece written by Hasmukh Gandhi and Ashok Bansal. The music has been scored by Anchal Talesara and feature singers like Shreya Ghoshal,Javed Ali,Roopkumar Rathod,Kavita Seth,Sonu Kakkar and Khushboo Jain.

On this occasion,Devraj Sanyal,Managing Director,Universal Music,India amp; SAARC said,We are extremely happy to release the music of this film. The music of Chand Ke Pare is a great combination with renditions by talented singers who bring out the essence of the music in the film.
