New power centres in RSS

While Mohan Bhagwats elevation as the new RSS chief and Bhaiyyaji Joshis election as the new general secretary made headlines,another important change in the RSS went almost unnoticed. Dattatray Hosaballe has been made the new saha-sarkaryavah joint general secretary,making him the fourth most important functionary in the Sangh. Madan Das Devi,who was holding a similar position,is now the new all-India pracharak pramukh. An old ABVP hand,Hosaballe is considered to be a sharp thinker and was the sah-baudhik pramukh deputy chief of the RSS intellectual cell for three years before his elevation in the organisation.
