The District Education Committee of Vadodara along with state BJP workers started distributing school bags with sketches and photographs

The District Education Committee of Vadodara along with state BJP workers on Thursday started distributing school bags with sketches and photographs of Chief Minister Narendra Modi in order to “publicise the CM’s initiatives in education sector among rural masses.”

This, even as Modi was giving away Hannah Montana and Spiderman bags to little children at Mau Tanda Primary School at Bhiloda in Sabarkantha district as part of Shala Praveshotsav, the school enrolment drive that began on Thursday.

At Vadodara, the free distribution of Modi merchandise started from Pandu village primary school in Savli taluka, where Urban Development Minister Nitin Patel launched the district-level three-day Shala Praveshotsav.

Two bags — a colourful bag having a photograph of Modi with two children, and another one,a black-and-white bag having his sketch — were distributed in schools across the district. The bag bears the imprint of Shala Praveshotsav 2012.
